Happy Friday! Well, for some. ~wink~ Let's just say I'm going a little crazy, as most Moms here in the Atlanta area are right now! We have been iced in since Sunday night. People were finally able to get out yesterday, but most of us have been cooped up in the house w/ kids all week! That's right, they have been out of school all week cuz of the ice and are out again Monday. I was explaining to my daughter this has never happened before here, and prolly will not happen again! At least I hope not! LOL....I enjoyed the first few days, but now I'm ready to get out of here! And still can't really cuz it's so darn cold and my 13 month old is getting over the flu! Well, enough of my venting. And onto my Fridays' Feature for today! :)
Rachel is the Mom-prenuer behind this adorable little shop called Jonah Brooke on Etsy. She makes pillowcase, jumper, and peasant dresses, burp cloths, hats, bags, and aprons. Here are a few samples of her creations:

"I spent the summer I turned 20 with my grandparents. While there my grandmother taught me to sew properly. Since that time I have made quilts, purses, blankets, aprons, and more dresses than I can count including my bridesmaids dresses. Over the years I have had many ideas to make money using my skills, but no platform to turn those ideas into a reality. When I first heard of Etsy, I thought maybe I could someday start a shop, but I didn't act on it until last summer.

Currently most of my items revolve around things I would like for my son and daughter including dresses and birthday hats. I love using fabrics that are unique and I love custom orders! Many of my orders come from people asking me if I can make a certain dress in certain colors, those projects are a lot of fun."
