When was the last time you looked up at the sky? I mean really looked at it?
Each day I walk with my 2 year old to the corner bus stop to greet my Kindergartner as she gets off the bus. I'm usually watching where I'm walking & making sure my toddler doesn't run out in the street, or get into ants, and thinking about what all is still left on my to-do list for the day. But every so often I'll take a moment and look up the sky, especially on a pretty day. And when I do I can't help but take a deep breath and thank God for all we are blessed with. The sky, like the ocean, is so vast, so deep, so wide, and calming...just like God's love for us.

I LOVE to look at the sky too and it reminds me of exactly what you said.....how great our God is! I get the same feeling looking at the ocean and also watching trees sway in the wind!! Thank you for the gentle reminder to stop long enough to look and to SEE! Have a great day!
Heather, I am so excited to have you join Be Still Sunday! I am so glad you did because I LOVE your blog! Especially your post today. I have been so consumed with the beauty of this fall. Artificial light can sure distract us from natural beauty. I look forward to coming over again!
