Happy Birthday Jesus!
Tomorrow is Jesus' birthday how will you celebrate? This is an exciting time for all of us that are Christ followers. It's a time to celebrate our Savior's birth. My family will attend a church candle light service tonight Christmas Eve then return home to have potato soup, watch a Christmas movie or listen to music then read the Christmas story from the the bible before putting the boys to bed. It's a special time for my family. Last year at this time my middle son opened the best gift he could ever receive and asked Jesus to be his forever friend and Savior. This year my oldest son is very close to opening that same gift. I know it's all in God's timing but, I so hope my son opens the FREE gift that Jesus gave soon. The FREE gift of salvation. There is nothing more better of a Christmas gift than that of the gift of eternal life. I want to share a few verses with you and I hope that if you have not asked Jesus to be your forever friend, you will today.

"For God loved the world so much that HE gave HIS one and only Son,so that everyone who believes in HIM will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 NLT
Here's this verse broken down God loved(us so much), God gave(His one and only Son), we(everyone) believe, we receive (eternal life). It's that simple. If you believe God loves you,He gave his Son for you and you truly mean it. You have taken the step of faith. Now go tell someone the truth you just discovered and take the steps to grow in the faith. Remember God loved, God gave, we believe,we receive.
"for the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Rom.6:23 NLT
Happy Birthday Jesus!!!!
