Here is what inspired her to start Spunky Monkey:
"What inspired me? hmmm, boredom LOL! And it's just too tempting to get involved in Mama Drama and gossip as a SAHM so I thought it would be a healthy "hobby" to keep me busy and a nice "excuse" to keep me out of trouble (trouble as I define it means too much shopping and giving into the temptation of gossip/drama).

OK, so the real inspiration, well, I was working on my jewelry that I both make and re-sell and enjoyed the creativity of setting up the site (www.StacyEvelyn.com) and the design work. I wanted to do more creative site design work and learn more (I'm kind of a nerd that way, always curious and wanting to soak up knowledge like a sponge). Children's clothing and handmade gear accessories such as stroller liners, carseat covers, etc was going to be my niche because I *crafting* (was in 4-H growing up in IL). However, needing dropshipping vendors to start, and being limited in that area, I needed to expand my niche to encompass clothing, accessories, gifts, gear and decor. Then add a touch of OCD and a sprinkle of my 7 yrs experience in retail and 7 yrs experience in banking and investments and voila, my "third baby" was born."
