I came across this little snippet I had saved in an email a while back. I thought it was a great reminder for me today as I am battling a nasty head cold & not feeling so good today......
"...sometimes I have to remind myself that they need a happy mommy, not a grumpy mommy. They need a patient mom, not an impatient mom. They need a forgiving mom, not a mom who constantly reminds them of their mistakes. My husband needs a happy wife. My friends need a faithful friend. My church needs a willing servant."
A while back my daughter brought this giant eraser home from school that said, "For really big mistakes". I just thought it was too cute & made me think how some days, at the end of the day, I wish I had a big eraser that I could just erase some of the mistakes, or bad things, from the day. Do you ever feel like that?
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
I hope you have a blessed day & are encouraged if you are having a tough day...you're not alone!!! {{Hugs}}

Yes, I have those days, too!
But, I'm thankful that our mistakes can be forgiven!
(And, that a paparazzi doesn't follow us around to capture them all!)
Thank you for that thought...Yes, there are always times I wish I could erase things....or at least maybe see into the future as see what was going to happen...so I could avoid thm completly! It's good to know we're not alone...but it still feels that way sometimes. I live so far away from any friends and family that sometimes I really feel very alone. Your cyber-hug was much needed! Thanks.
