Win It Wednesday - Bracelet Stories

Share

Welcome to the original Win It Wednesday! Thanks to all 173 who entered to win the beautiful handmade earrings from Jac Jewelry last week! Random.org has selected lucky #130, Jolene, as the winner! Congrats! ;)

Today I would like to introduce you to Loni from Bracelet Stories. In case you haven't had a chance to click on her button on my right sidebar, and read her story, I want to share a little of it with you today.

Several months ago I received an email from Loni. She was wanting to offer a giveaway on one of her beautiful bracelets @ The Gift Closet. Once I went to her site and read what inspired her, I was so touched. Loni's son passed away, and as a result, she started Bracelet Stories. I am going to let her tell you a little more about it:

"Bracelet Stories are personalized bracelets, telling your story or your passion in life. Bracelet Stories began with first making bracelets for moms who have lost a baby. The little baby feet charm pictured in the bracelet below is the size of a baby's feet, 10 weeks after conception. So many times when a mom miscarries or loses a baby early, there is nothing tangible to hold or keep in memory. From there customers requested mom's bracelets including all their children, including babies waiting in heaven. It's grown from memory bracelets to mother and grandmother bracelets, wedding and anniversary bracelets, birthday and purity bracelets and cancer survivor and various charm bracelets. Each bracelet is personalized. No two are the same. Bracelets are specified to each person's size."

Her story and her site were touching to me months ago, but even more so now, as I suffered a miscarriage myself just last week. Read more about it here: God's Promises.

Want it?
What is your story? What is your passion? Who do you want to remember? Bracelet Stories will help you create your story with help with over 100 bracelet story samples shown here.

Christina - xristya@rock.com - I had a beautiful Red Lory (parrot) named Kalina (after red berries that grow in Ukraine, since my mother and father came from Ukraine) who was my constant companion for 11 years until she died recently. She was sweet and innocent and could mimic the sound of the microwave and your coughing, and knew tons of words and their meanings, and I found it especially funny when she would say, "Where's my purse?" (you can just imagine where she got that from!). I'd love one of these bracelets with garnets for her date of birth (or hatch-date, as they say with parrots) and her name on it!

These are angels on Earth that make personalized jewelry, it is so meaningful. Even birthstones are very special.

Wishing all a gentle hug from the Spring breezes, and a bit of Irish laughter and luck.
