The Gift Closet: Friday's Feature

A couple of weeks ago I won these cute little Organic Lavender Sachets from Wash When Dirty.

"I've been making bags, knitting scarves, making clothes and many other little things for as long as I can remember. I've always been shy about putting them out there so I used to only make things for my friends and family. over the past couple of years though, I've really been inspired to explore this little dream by some great friends. Their confidence and belief in me, made me a little more brave and actually toy with the idea. This year but especially at the beginning of the summer,I started to really feel an almost urgent need to share my creations with the public. Our society is fueled by the desire to consume more! So the desire to provide some more sustainable options that are great looking, durable, functional and reusable with easy care grew more and more...and that led me to where I am right now. =)

It hasn't been easy, but it's also been fun and great in the sense that I'm making great friends online-like you =) and meeting awesome people offline that are forever helpful! I've been blown away by the support and feedback I've received since June. Of course, I would love for things to start picking up as far as sales go because I'm flat broke! lol! I need to get some returns in order for me to continue with this. So the decision was easy when the timing was right, I think it's always been there deep down but i just needed to work through some of my reservations. It's the continuation that's difficult and where I need to continue in finding some inspirations that will encourage me to keep going despite the struggle. "
