I was able to select from one of the Melissa and Doug Food Play sets. My daughter chose the Slice and Bake Cookie Set and couldn't wait for it to arrive. This colorful wooden set includes 12 wooden, sliceable cookies and 12 toppings, wooden knife, spatula, cookie sheet and a kitchen mitt for safe play! The cookies store in a durable dough tube.

What we like about it:
1. My daughter loves everything about it! She is 6 years old & my 3 year old son has enjoyed playing with it as well. They played with it non-stop for 2 days after receiving it.
2. My son said he likes to play "swords" with the wooden knife & spatula.
3. No hard edges, extremely durable, non-breakable!
4. Very cute & lots of fun for the kids!
What we didn't like about it:
1. They have already lost a couple of the pieces because the cookies have removable velcro icing that comes off. I just hope we can keep up with the entire set, but that's not really a negative. It is really a great & durable toy. I would definitely purchase it!

My sister was here recently and her kids could not get enough of my Melissa and Doug food cutting set. The best part is that my sister's name is Melissa! I love the Victorian dollhouses and stables because I love watching children use their imaginations. Some of the things they come up with just crack me up.
